This September 20-27, millions of will walk out of our workplaces and homes to join young climate strikers on the streets and demand an end to the age of fossil fuels.
Our house is on fire — let’s act like it. We demand climate justice for everyone. For people living in the United States, we need to acknowledge that our military industrial is the single biggest carbon polluter on the planet. It consumes more hydrocarbons than most countries.
We’re literally killing, dying, & polluting for continued access to the very same toxic resources that are most responsible for climate disruption. The time for business as usual is long past. A rebellion of hope is our only chance.

Benjamin Franklin said, “You’ll only have a republic as long as you keep it”; to paraphrase- and we didn’t. Injustices, addressing, not addressing them have costs, former is individual, the latter is global, as well. Responsibility, if you don’t exercise it, it’s Siamese twin sister, freedom, will wither, like an unused muscle, as well. Sadly, because of self-possession, we need to exorcise it before it’s exercised.
