Throughout April 2022, the University of San Francisco Peace and Justice Studies Program and the USF Institute for Nonviolence and Social Justice, in partnership with Waging Peace in Vietnam and a number of USF academic departments and centers, presents a month-long program series highlighting the robust movement sustained by tens of thousands of active-duty GIs and veterans to end the war in Vietnam. The powerful Waging Peace in Vietnam exhibit will be on display in the main atrium of Kalmanovitz Hall. Most of the events are also free to attend via Zoom.
Courage to Resist’s director, Jeff Paterson, will appear on the “Waging Peace: The Movement of GIs & Veterans Against the Vietnam War” panel discussion, along with fellow war resisters Keith Mather and Mike Wong. Tuesday, April 19th, 2:45pm. Registration and information.
