Panel discussion to encourage dialogue about Lt. Watada’s court martial by presenting varying viewpoints about the U.S. Army’s case against him.

Panelists include:  Jon Okamura, Ph.D, Associate Professor of Ethnic Studies at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa; Karen Nakasone, past President of the Japanese American Citizens League Honolulu Chapter & Deputy Public Defender, Office of the Public Defender; Ernie Kimoto, Senior Staff Attorney, Office for Hawaiian Affairs and Major, U.S. Marine Corps (Ret.) and former judge advocate for the U.S. Marine Corps

Signholding, street theatre, and a press conference. The press conference will be 4 pm in front of the main Fort Shafter gate tha will include religious leaders and representatives from community groups.
