“There are a lot of turning points in my life — but [meeting Courage to Resist] was a turning point during my conscientious objection process.”

-Jacob Bridge, US Marine Officer, 2015 conscientious objector

Supporting the Troops Who Refuse to Fight

We’re a group of concerned community members, veterans and military families who support military objectors to illegal war and occupation and the policies of empire. Our People Power strategy weakens the pillars that maintain war and occupation in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere by supporting GI resistance, counter-recruitment and draft resistance, which cuts off the supply of troops. We are autonomous from and independent of any political organization, party or group.

Reality Leigh Winner

Join us in defending recent Air Force veteran and NSA contractor Reality Leigh Winner against an overzealous prosecution by Trump’s Department of Justice.

Reality is currently jailed without bail, facing 10 years in prison, for allegedly giving a document vital to the public’s understanding of potential Russian interference in US election systems to a news organization.
