IRR FAQ: What’s the difference between resisting activation, and just not showing up?

This FAQ is related to Courage to Resist’s “Resisting Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) recall” published February 2009. If this question is of interest to you, please read our overview first.

Nothing, in regards to IRR involuntary activations, we use the terms “resisting”, “refusing” and “no shows” interchangeably. Whether you are an active IRR recall resister, or just an IRR recall “no show”, is a distinction only you can truly make.
