Courage to Resist provides legal, media and moral support for soldiers of conscience, but most importantly, it is a beacon of hope to those who feel most compelled to act for peace.

Many service members are reluctant to speak out against the war because they feel isolated and afraid. Organizations like Courage to Resist often presents these men and women with their first exposure to the vast undercurrent of support they need to stand on their principles.
